The iconic foundation Louis Vuitton was on our stops for the MRU tour. The building itself is a beauty designed by renown architect, Frank Gehry and houses contemporary art installations and music performances. The building itself is an mazing exploration of space, especially out on the upper terraces with views of the Jardin D’acclimatization next door and some of Paris in the distance. It was designed not only to exhibit contemporary art but was also was where the brand showed each season to buyers, editors and stylists.

We were lucky enough to view the exhibition, Art/Africa, The New Workshop which includes works from the Jean Pigozzi collection of African art shown for the first time in Paris as well as a complementary exhibition with works by South African Artists.

In addition to the main exhibitions and the building itself is an expansive light and sound installation by Olafur Elliasson. Truly an amazing museum for lovers of contemporary art and architecture.
